Michelle is wrapping up another semester of teaching her On-Air Talent course. She recently voiced an animated trailer for Avanade, a MicroSoft services expert. And she’s been busy staying on top of the steady flow of phone prompt work (Disney, Victoria’s Secret, American Airlines, Hartford Insurance, NetGear, Avis-Budget, more)! There are also plans to upgrade the studio this summer!

Great start to 2013!

Besides her on-going phone prompt work, Michelle also voiced projects for Blackbird Digital Studios of Marin and Viscira of San Francisco. Somehow, both projects were about allergies! The Blackbird video was for ConsultingMD’s series on Food Allergies. The script for Viscira was highly technical and full of challenging pharmaceutical terminology, but Michelle made intranasal corticosteroids sound conversational.

Michelle just signed with GM Voices!

GM Voices in Alpharetta, Georgia just scouted Michelle and signed her on as one of their remote voice talent. She’s already done her first booking for them and is looking forward to a great partnership!

Medical narration for nasal aerosol

Viscira, a company that specializes in interactive media productions for the health sciences and pharmaceutical industries, has selected Michelle’s voice for an animation for a new nasal aerosol. Viscira has their own in-house audio studio and engineer. The sessions were produced by Dave Wolf and Rachel Perey of Viscira in San Francisco. http://viscira.com/

Voice of Aldo Shoes and Texas Taxi

Michelle’s voice has been chosen for the phone systems for Aldo shoe stores (Globo Shoes) and for Texas Taxi. She’s been busy recording hundreds of prompts for both systems, which seemingly includes every intersection in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Galveston where someone might want to be picked up by a cab!

Michelle voiced another wonderful project produced by Vanessa Workman; this one for the Environmental Defense Fund. The project is a one minute video about the need to adopt stronger air pollution standards for oil and gas development in the U.S. This is is especially vital for communities located near natural gas facilities.

Summer 2011 VO to save ocean fisheries

Spring 2011 Teaching On-Air Talent class

Michelle is teaching DGME 128 On-Air Talent this spring semester at College of San Mateo. Students will learn voiceover and on-camera techniques. The course will be offered again in the fall.
